Chromira Digital Prints
 

Chromira is a digital photo printer that exposes digital files  too photographic paper. Chromira has moved digital imaging to an entirely new world. Colors are unbelievably saturated and true to the original shot including flesh tones and bright colors. With the Chromira, your digitally created or retouched images will accurately reflect the intentions of the photographer or graphic artist. It is truly a photograph.
Guidelines for file submission:
 
  • 30" wide and 100' long is the maximum print size.
  • Use JPG or RGB .tif file/no LZW, No other file formats such as Quark, Illustrator etc.
  • Optimum dpi is 200, 300 maximum if there is fine text.
  • If your print has a white border, stroke the outside with a 1 pixel line so it can be trimmed carefully.

DIGITAL PROCESSING WITH LIMITLESS POSSIBILITIES
Because the QSS-2901 lab converts all scanned images into digital data, a wide range of correction measures can be applied to significantly improve contrast, sharpness and red-eye, as well as to minimize problems with exposure, backlighting ,and flash photography. Negatives with surface dust and scratches can be automatically detected and corrected when the standard Digital ICE™ feature is employed. The easy to use QSS-2901 can input and manipulate images from virtually any source, including Flash cards, Zip™ disks, CDs, and digital cameras. Of course, you can still input images captured on the most popular film formats like 35mm & 120 films.
Print & Scanning capabilities
 
  • 2x3 up to 11x14
  • Prints can be made from 35mm & 120 negative or slide
  • Files accepted, .jpg., tif., bmp ; Optimum dpi is 200 dpi, 300 maximum if there is fine text.
  • Scanning, high volume long roll scans, a 4 megabyte file or a 17 megabyte file is available.
  • Also available from cut negatives or transparency 35mm & 120 film sizes
